As Americans, and especially as Christians, we should be standing firmly with Israel, and adamantly, publicly and even vehemently rejecting the disinformation campaign and utter gaslighting against her which is being done under the obvious coordination of demonic powers. Indeed, and oddly, to do so is not politically correct (all of a sudden) and many fear social repercussion, perhaps even economic, and particularly among those who identify with the left, the fear is of appearing out of step with the hive mind which is the left of today. However, it says in Proverbs 29:25: "The fear of man bringeth forth a snare." So keep that in mind if and when you're conflicted about standing up for what you know to be right in your heart of hearts.
Straying away from politically addressing this, as alas -- I believe that it's a lost cause in that arena -- I will say that too many Christians simply do not read, or do not know HOW to read, or do not understand what it is that they are reading, or are not properly taught, the Bible. That is what has them either on the wrong side of this issue, or in a state of indifference. Have you not read Genesis 12:3, and the annals of history which confirm this scripture by recording society after society, nation after nation, king after king, who opted for the latter of the actions towards the Covenant? I'm sure many have not, as it is reported that 80% or more do not read the Bible more than 2-3 times a year (as found by an Arizona State University study through a poll, which is affirmed by parallel studies from other sources -- both secular and Christian).
Sadly most Christians don't understand or perhaps are oblivious to both the Covenant which the LORD made with Abram -- whom later become Abraham -- and the history of what became the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, and of course those who've interacted with it. As a result they are easy prey to fall victim yet again to the "social gospel". Not to go at a tangent, but it's important to state that the "social gospel" is NOT congruent to the Gospel of Jesus Christ nor the Word of the LORD, not because Christ and Christians don't believe in justice and helping those in need, but rather because the former, as it has existed in the past 65-70 years or so is based on lies, deception, ulterior motivations which have nothing to do with any form of justice, and operates upon a spirit of division. There's further real estate in that land to explore, but I'll stop there for now in order to not obscure the point of this post.
As I often quote as a fallback verse to almost anything in order to show that ignorance is the root cause of an issue, among Christians especially, I will now do so yet again:
Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."
