Night Shot/Urban Photography/Lower Manhattan

Running around with my homie Briar Rantilla in Lower Manhattan one night, we stomped through Chinatown. Of course I had to get a few snaps of the photogenic streets that had a humidified tone that particular night; it gave it a somewhat dusty hue. I actually almost was hit by a car turning the corner hella quickly while I was stooped down to take this picture with Freedom Tower in off in the distance.

Going Nowhere

Landmark in Santa Cruz

Riding through Santa Cruz, CA with my homie Mike Bolton, I sighted an old rusty truck just perched in a public yard. It had a lot of high grass growning underneath it and the yard was ranch-fenced providing easy access for a photographer like myself to climb through. Some years later, I got htis printed on canvas and gifted it to my mother for her birthday.

Miami Crib

There are houses and buildings in the Dade County region that are "so Miami". This style of home architecture has always been my favorite, and it's typical as well as iconic of and to Miami, respectively. This spot I'll keep private, but it's in Southwest Miami on a busy corner that still manages to keep quiet in spite of all the traffic.

Cape Henlopen/Atlantic Ocean/Air Photograhy

While on a flight from Miami up to NYC, I was intrigued by this geography down below, and it's distinct feature. I didn't know it at the time but it turned out to be Cape Henlopen, Delaware. This began my hobby of trying to track my flight positioning using nothing but the land that I can see below and the map in my hand, knowledge of the general geography, flight speed of the craft (if I know it), and the time.

Slide Game

Mixing Console/Recording Studio/Youngstown, OH

There are few places as photogenic as a recoding studio. With the aesthetically designed electronics, and usually low-lit environment, and eye catching/mind-intriguing decor, it's often part of my time rental whenever I have sessions. This is a photo of the mixing console in the main sound room of Medusa Audio Tampering, in Youngstown, Ohio where I've recorded and engineered quite a few of my songs.

Another from the Santa Cruz, CA album. All that running around eventually made me hungry, so I pulled up to a spot to get some tacos and burritos. In the parking lot they had a very high bush surrounding the property, and over one of the sides stood one of Cali's famous palm trees. The way it was just out there standing alone by itself caught my eye and I had to get the snap. This one I plan to print on a few different mediums, and it will be for sale in limited edition, as well as be in my personal collection.

Showering In The Metaverse

I once got a serious vision and somewhat of a glimpse of understanding about the Universe and the possible metaverse. It happened while I was washing my car some years ago. The bubbles in the mist from the water hose easily could be a universe in and of itself, while it's contained inside of this universe. Furthermore, the plethora of similar bubbles (albeit miniscule in size, and brief in existence) enabled me to envision a Multiverse. This is in the shower in Miami, with my iPhone 8, various SnapSeed filters.

A Moment Of Lila

My oldest son plays in the sands of Presque Isle in Erie, PA while the sun is going down. This was a great day, full of family and good food and vibes, and of course — the water. This definitely one of my favorites and remains exclusive to my personal collection. Maybe a few close family members have a copy, but it isn't one for sale.

I saw my youngest son walking across the beach to engage in something, which was likely to deal with his older brother or link up with one of his cousins, or perhaps to dabble in the sand on his own. He's always been a philosophical fellow, even since a youngster so there's no telling what was on his mind as he strolled seemingly into the sun.

Icebergs In The Sky

I was probably on one of my usual flights from Miami to NYC when I caught these many different cloud types forming quite the sight over the Atlantic Ocean. It looked like icebergs in the ocean, but floating in the sky. My phone battery was quite low when I took this (was some form of Android, and I'm not sure which one), but it's not one of my clearest resolution pictures, I'll admit. Nonetheless — it's eye-catching to me.

Before ripping and running with Briar (see the photo "Bottom Of The Top" story), we were chilling at his crib in Astoria, Queens. Being an artistic guy, and quite a technical one at that, he has quite the collection of vintage cameras and lenses. Some of these were his dad's and he has cool stories behind each of these. Briar is one of my more insteresting homies, and perhaps genius!

Grounded Beauty

Down on Bleecker street in SoHo, I was walking along and caught the sight of these lovely pink Magnolia flower petals that adorn the sidewalks and streets of NYC every spring and summer. The way they decorate the ground when they've fallen puts me in the mind of knowing that even when blessed with beauty (whether phyiscal or abstract) you have to remain grounded and operate with at least some humility to be able to be positively guided by the Universe.

Much of my photography work is available for sale as prints on different mediums. I mainly have them as prints on canvas, but I'm using other surfaces such as large photo paper in artistic and aesthetic frames, and even some custom/novel mediums. Most of my photos were taken with either an iPhone, and Android devivice, or a low/mid-level camera like the one in the image below. Taking good photos is really in how you finesse the camera or mobile device, your level of patience and fortitude to get into position to get the shots you're looking for.
